Route One Infrastructure recently employed by Highways England collaboratively worked with the South West Framework Community of Contractors to undertake a £1.8 million bridge deck refurbishment project on the M5 J11 Golden Valley Interchange.

The work involved required a high level of management and coordination to ensure that all of our works were completed in sequence without disruption and delays to the other trades employed on this project. During the contract period Route One installed approximately 5000m2 of bridge deck waterproofing and 200 linear metres of bridge joints

  • Large scale and complex project interfacing with many other contractors
  • Installed waterproofing and bridge joint systems to tight deadlines
  • Utilised jet engine technology to dry surfaces and minimise delays to the programme
